Mx for children is a great charity. I have gotten the opportunity to be a part of it for a couple years now and not only is it a great charity but I have had a great time at their events. Riding, taking mx classes with a great coach like Eric Waunch, and being around great people all for a good cause. I believe Paul even snapped some good pics of me riding a few years back. While he says he's no professional he got some of the best pics I have seen yet and I know now they bring someone who is a profesional to take pics. Hope that I will be able to help out more and more each year. Thanks for all your efforts Paul and everyone else who donates their time and money.

Last year at Toronto we had a great group of people turn out for the event. The riders were terrific and the kids got to have some real personal time getting to know the riders on a different more relaxed environment. All of the experiences that the kids had was wonderful. They had a new appreciation for all of the hard work that goes into a supercross. Thanks for all the effort that Paul puts forward to ensure that the weekend is a success, which it is.

I have done the MX ride twice. I always have fun. My friends are there and we get to ride all day and have hamburgers. This year my brother won an X-Box 360 in the drawing. I had the second highest amount of pledges this year and I hope that it helps all the kids. Next year I will try to get even more.

I have been involved in the MX for Children since Paul had is first ride at MXGP. I decided to be involved in the charity simply by talking to Paul at the track day. MXGP was my home track, and I got the opportunity to take a day off of work, and ride the track when there was hardly anyone there. I was all for paying a little more for the charity, but really had no idea what it was all about. I started talking to Paul over barbecue dinner at the track and he begins to tell me about his children. To make a long story short, I began to think that as a parent, any one of us could need the expertise and the care provided by Childrens, God forbid. In one small conversation, I had an epiphany. I felt compelled to get involved any way I could. After the charity ride, I participated in the pledge drive, and then the following year, I sold raffle tickets. I have been in the top fundraisers every year, and my son Brendan and I have gotten to hang out with Chad Reed, Ryan Villopoto, Tim Ferry, Davi Milsaps, Andrew Short, Ricky Carmichael, Heath Voss, Ivan Tedesco, and Ryan Abrigo. We have gotten the royal treatment by the inside line experience every year, and we have toured Chad's rig twice. (Chad is Brendans Favorite) This charity brings me so much satisfaction internally, and I can't stress that enough. Karma goes a long way, and we as parents can only hope and pray that we never need the services of Childrens, but if we can continue to work diligently to help those who do need those services, everyone will be better off as a whole. Come to the charity rides, they are a ball, sell raffle tickets this year and try to beat me!!!! I will be gunning to get the top sales position this year for sure!!! Whatever you do, get involved. You will be a better person for it.

Riding is my passion MX my addiction so when MX for Children came along it was perfect a chance to give in a way that was meaningful to me to a cause that meant something to someone else. MX rides aren’t normally measured in smiles or miles but for me and this charity it is. I don’t know how many miles I covered or smiles I had but there had to be plenty of both. This is a good cause put on by good people doing good things for people who need it. The sponsors are great and the tracks top notch, food's good and free and there’s lots of give-aways. Need a X-Box maybe some MX gear, t-shirts, grips, goggles, stands and, and, and – and ...more. MX for Children is about people and a cause...and smiles. Better bring a hand full because on a MX for Children ride you'll need'em. These rides are counted in smiles-per-mile, I’d say about a hundred-gazillion.

Motocross people are the best people in any sport hands down. Where else do you see grassroots participants coming together to help people in need with their hard earned money.

Paul,
I just wanted to tell you that Hayden had such an awesome time Saturday and Saturday night at supercross. He was very impressed with the Red Bull Honda Rig tour, then after the main event Davi Milsaps gave him his jersey! He told me " Mom, that was the best supercross ever!" Thank you so much for the opportunity to be involved with MX for Children.

The Inside Line experience was absolutely amazing. They guys all enjoyed themselves so much! They still haven't stopped talking about all they got to do in Seattle. The only thing that could have been better would be for the kids who raised so much money to actually get to meet some of the kids that their fundraising has helped. How wonderful to be able to put a face to the life your efforts may have saved!
