MX Ride for Children

The annual MX Ride for Children provides a family centered opportunity for the motocross community -- recreational, amateur, professional and industry -- to have fun and benefit a great cause in the Northwest. Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center provides quality medical care to families in need regardless of their ability to pay. Proceeds also go to support hydrocephalus research at Children's Hospital. Hydrocephalus is a brain condition that strikes children and adults alike but is particularly debilitating to children requiring multiple brain surgeries to survive and develop. MX Ride events are held each summer at a motocross track in Washington state and provides an open "practice" day to participants whose gate fees and pledges raised benefit Children's Hospital. Supercross Triple Charity

The Seattle Supercross Triple Charity for Children's Hospital is a three part fundraiser that surrounds the arrival of Supercross in Seattle in April each year. The goal of the event is to bring together the professional supercross racers and industry with local enthusiasts in support of Children's Hospital's mission to provide quality medical care. The Inside Line Experience is a pledge drive that allows top fundraisers to get up close and personal with the likes of Ricky Carmichael and Chad Reed, attend the pre-race press conference, walk the track and tour factory rigs. American Suzuki Motor Corporation donated an 2006 RM-Z250 for a raffle drawing. And Renton Motorcycles hosted a fan appreciation event with a free autograph session with top racers and a silent auction. Children's Ride

Children's Ride 11 just completed on June 25, 2006 and raised over $600,000 for Children's Hospital. This weekend long event started as a group of Harley Davidson enthusiasts who had a personal connection with the hospital and the children in their life. Over the past 10 years, Children's Ride has grown from a one day ride from Qwest Field to Pacific Raceways to a whole weekend of events including the traditional ride, a gala and auction.
