August has been a busy month for MX for Children. Thanks to everyone that made the 4th Annual MX Ride for Children including more than 100 riders! (Please make an entry in our guestbook!) The event raised more than $9,000 for Children's Hospital. Two kids under 12 -- Cayson Yakovich and Jonathan Shaw -- raised more than $1200 each to be the Highest Fliers. And thanks to our sponsors -- Renton Motorcycles RMC, Hinshaw's Motorcycle Store, Ride Motorsports, Eastside Motosports, Devol Engineering and EW MX Schools for making the event a great success.So What's Next?#1 - The Yamaha YZ250F Raffle Renton Motorcycles donated a 2008 Yamaha YZ250F to be the grand prize for our summer raffle. There are five prizes in total including a Honda EG2500 portable generator courtesy of Hinshaw's Motorcycle Store, two passes to the Inside Line Experience at Seattle Supercross courtesy of MX for Children, an Xbox 360 or a $100 gift certificate to Ride Motorsports. #2 - MX Ride for Children East on October 25, 2008MX for Children is pleased to announce the creation of a second MX Ride for Children in 2008 made possible by the generous donation of Extreme Motorsports MX track for the event on October 25, 2008. This ride event will follow a similar format to our previous event from August 3rd but will include the drawing of the raffle for the Yamaha YZ250F.
