MX for Children puts on local ride events to raise money for local Children’s Hospitals. We have put on five rides since our start in September 2005. So far all have been in Washington State but we are planning to “franchise” the ride format so that YOU can expand the MX for Children fun in your state, too.
The ride events are a family practice day at a local motocross track. Participants pay a larger than average gate fee and receive a ride t-shirt, lunch and entry into a gate prize drawing for an Xbox 360 and other donated prizes.. Free professional photography and the presence of local pros make the event quite unique and fun. We also encourage people to raise pledges for the ride event and award “highest flier” awards to the top fundraisers — usually a gift card for a local motocycle store.

Western Washington Ride
Saturday, September 12, 2009 — Private Track in Morton, WA
This year’s Western Washington ride is a new format so please read closely. To participate in this ride event you need to either “give or get” a minimum of $100 in donations. So you can give $100 or raise $100 or more in pledges (see above to download a pledge form). But there is a catch — you have to be one of the top 30 fundraisers! So you need to turn in your pledges by September 1 to see if you qualify.
You MUST pre-register for our Western Washington ride to qualify. To register, just send email to Brett Wise to indicate that you plan to raise funds for the ride and then download the pledge form and start raising funds.
